Sethi Family Museum Opens it’s Doors for the Rehabilitation, Conservation, and Showcasing of History of Sethi Family

It was jointly inaugurated by Dr. Abdul Samad, Director DOAM, and Mr. Suhail Sethi. 

Mr. Suhail Sethi, in his welcome speech, applauded Dr. Abdul Samad for his visionary leadership. Dr. Ali Jan, a young heritage enthusiast, for his untiring efforts, Dr. Adil Zarif, of SCN, for facilitating this initiative, and Mr. Zahoor Durrani, an ardent supporter of this cause. He thanked members of civil society, journalists, social media activists, who were present in big numbers at a short notice on a sultry afternoon. 

Dr. Abdul Samad, while addressing the guests said that it’s the first project in KPK where a private entity has handed over a priceless monument to DOAM which shows trust in DOAM and its ability. It will be an incentive for others to follow instead of demolishing historical monuments. He hoped that in the next six months, it would be ready and equipped to be formally launched.
